Website structured data

Helps search engines understand the overall structure and purpose of your website.

Schema is a type of structured data—code added to your website that makes it easier for Google’s search engine to crawl and display specific content to users. While traditional HTML scripts allow Google bots to interpret what the data says, they don’t convey the meaning behind the data. Schema markup bridges this gap by explaining what the data means.

In essence, schema markup enables effective communication with bots and crawlers, helping them understand the purpose of your content and why it is relevant to users.

How to enable Website rich snippets?

To be able to turn on the Website schema from the AC Rich Snippets:

Website schema tile

There is no extra configuration for Website schema. It takes your store's name and description and uses them for the main structured data.

Google Rich Snippets testing tool doesn't support WebSite schema testing but you can check on Schema.org Validation Tool
